Science Centers

A collaborative model that creates new partnerships and leverages all available resources will not only have tremendous impact nationally but in each respective community of the participating science centers.  Some of the expected benefits:

Improved experiences

  • Leveraging the strengths from many institutions allows every element of engagement (exhibitions, education, outreach, media) to be a “best practice” in every community.
  • By sharing ideas and technology, each science center uses resources more efficiently and is better able to keep pace with a fast-changing world.
  • Expanded sponsorship and revenue opportunities allow for more frequent reinvestment in the experience, technology and media.

  • As more collaboration occurs, the more duplicate efforts across organizations can be reduced so more energy is centered on more local impact.

  • Science Centers  have more to offer sponsors in their own markets that are leveraging national investments.
